The Story of Noyosano Sato | Akiyamago
Noyosano Sato is one of those hotels that is sure to appeal to nature lovers, perched as it is on the back slopes of Mount Naeba, surrounded by towering peaks and native forests. The main building housing the onsen, reception and dining room is in a traditionally styled farmhouse. Branching off from here to the rooms and outdoor onsen are covered wooden walkways. Each room is a stand-alone cottage equipped with a traditional charcoal fire in the main room and with a couple of tatami bedrooms. Each cottage is right on the edge of the forest so your hikes can start from you backdoor or you may lie in bed and try to catch a glimpse of the local fauna.
