Inamoto commands one of the best locations on Echigo-Yuzawa's Onsen Street and also holds one of the best reputations as a premier ryokan in the area. It has a very grand entrance and very much looks the part of a top class ryokan. It's heritage is very much in the traditional ryokan area but it has benefited from lots of care and attention from the owners and is a modern stylish example of the updated ryokan experience. Saying that though it has not compromised on the key elements of traditional hospitality with simple, stylish rooms, attentive staff and top-quality onsen.
The size of Inamoto allows it to have several different kinds of rooms so it is sure to have something to fit your needs. For larger groups they have some connecting rooms which will suit. One of the highlights of the ryokan is their onsen baths. As well as the inside baths they have a fantastic outdoor bath that conducts beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Also as you walk into the hotel there is a foot onsen just outside which allows you to bathe your weary feet after a fun day of activities.

Inamoto is on the west side of the station.
