Izumiya Ryokan is an old ryokan in the heart of the Oyu Onsen town. In a town well-known for its hot springs, Izumi deserves special mention as it is sat right on top of its own onsen spring source. As you would expect the onsen water here is 100% natural and comes straight out of the ground. It is a classic ryokan with plenty of wood and simple tatami rooms and you can well imagine it providing its high quality of Japanese hospitality throughout the years.

Access from Tokyo
Izumiya offer a pick up service from Urasa Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen line. There is also a public bus from Urasa Station to Oyu Onsen.
