Ryugon is a traditional ryokan with hundreds of years of history. The owners have taken great pains to keep the old style look and feel. Each room is unique and looks out on to landscaped gardens, ponds, or cedar forests with Mount Sakado towering in the background. Each room is spacious given its history as lodging for the top levels of society, and famous calligraphy adorns the walls of each room. In the ryokan world, Ryugon is well-known and it rightly has a great reputation.
