The Story of Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku | Minakami
Osenkaku is an old ryokan attached to Takaragawa Onsen, deep in the mountains of Minakami. The onsen is world famous and Osenkaku is equally worthy of fame. It sprawls along the banks of the Takara River and has been added to over the years. As you wander deeper into the hotel the buildings get older, and as a result there are different styles of room to choose from, though all are traditional ryokan style tatami rooms. You can really get a sense of the past in this ryokan and if you are looking for the complete Japanese accommodation experience, Osenkaku will be sure to please.
