The Story of Tatsumikan | Minakami
Tatsumikan is a large ryokan hotel in the Kamimoku township of Minakami. On the banks of the Tone River with views back up the valley to Tanigawadake, it is surrounded by beautiful nature. The rooms are spacious Japanese style with every room looking over the river. There are indoor and outdoor onsen with one of the baths being famous for having a mosaic on the wall by one of Japan's most famous artists.

Tatsumikan is short walk from Kamimoku Station on the Joetsu Line from Takasaki to Minakami or they offer a pick up service from Minakami Station or Jomokogen Bullet Train Station.
