Satsuki is a homely inn located very close to Echigo-Yuzawa bullet train station and right beside the Shirataki-sake brewery. The facilities at Satsuki make for a comfortable stay and the owners take great care to keep the accommodation clean and tidy. One of the highlights at Satsuki is the wood‐burning stove which Mr. Satsuki diligently tends so his guests can relax in front of the warming flames at the end of a fun day.
All rooms in Satsuki are Japanese style without en suite facilities so all guests use the public bathrooms which is normal for guest houses in the mountains of Japan.

4 minute walk from Yuzawa train station. Exit the east side of the station and turn left. Walk down the street a little way and take a right between ‘Hakuginkaku’ hotel and a meat store. Walk down the street and turn left at the fist corner.
