Even though it has hotel in the name, it takes its inspiration from the traditional Japanese ryokan concept. The rooms are well-appointed and really let you get a taste of Japanese living. One of the big highlights of this hotel is the range of different onsen available - there are a total of 28 different kinds and you can even stay in rooms with their own natural hot springs attached. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious stay during their time in Yuzawa.

Access from Tokyo
Hotel Futaba is located off the main Onsen St about 15 minutes walk from the West Exit of Echigo Yuzawa Station. Take a left up to the top of the hill opposite Chin Rai restaurant. Futaba also offer a pick up service from the station.
